Nombre: The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, 1:125, Heritage

This indoor Jacobean theatre was built alongside the Globe, as Sam Wanamaker’s vision of building an outdoor theatre and an indoor playhouse together. The indoor playhouse was left as a shell, used as rehearsal space. The Globe now has rehearsal studios elsewhere, allowing the playhouse interior to be completed.
It is based upon drawings dating to 1660 attributed to John Webb, a student of Inigo Jones. Much research has been undertaken to create an interior which is as historically accurate at possible. An oak structure, candlelit during performances
The model features a removeable roof, displaying a depiction of the interior
