"Black Pearl" is a fictional ship from the film serial "Pirates of the Caribbean". It is called by the Captain Jack Sparrow and easily recognized by its black sails and dark hull, thanks to which it becomes absolutely invisible at night. "Black Pearl", thanks to its speed performance and courage of the crew, easily reaches and avoids all kinds of ships, including "Vorpal" and "Flying Dutchman". It participated repeatedly in pirate raids. Its speed is supported by big quantity of sails. "Black Pearl" is moderately weaponed. It holds thirty-two cannons: 18 - on the gun deck and 14 - on the upper deck. On "Black Pearl" there are neither bow guns nor stern guns, what is very unusual for a pirate ship.
