Guidance in English

“Captain Sacken” — the mine-cruiser of the Black Sea Fleet. It was built in Nikolaev, was launched in April, 30, 1889, and the same year joined the fleet. It was used by the Black Sea Fleet as a dispatch and advice ship. In August, 25, 1899, in Sevastopol the radio-connection between war-ships was made for the first time in the world’s history. The transmitter-receivers were installed on the armour-plated ships “Georgiy Pobedonosetz” and “Three Holy Hierarches”, and the broadcaster – on the mine-cruiser “Captain Sacken”. During the Sevastopol’s Rebel of 1905 the mine-cruiser, with the government-owned squadron, fired on the rebels’ ships. In April, 8, 1907, it was re-named as a harbour craft “Bombory”. It never took part in military operations. It was de-listed in December, 22, 1909.

It is a not big, but rather difficult model, with great quantity of tiny details. On the sheets with details there is surface-reverse printing. Besides there is printing with a bronze paint. It is recommended for experienced model-makers.
